Hess Midstream Partners LP, now known as Hess Midstream LP, is a Houston-based energy infrastructure company founded in 2014 and listed on the NYSE under the ticker HESM. As a common equity security, it represents ownership in the company’s midstream business, which acquires, owns, operates, and develops assets that support the movement and handling of oil, natural gas, and related products in the United States.
The company generates fee-based revenue from services provided to its sponsor, sponsor subsidiaries, and third-party customers. Its operations are organized into three segments: Gathering; Processing and Storage; and Terminaling and Export. Assets include natural gas and crude oil gathering systems, produced water gathering and disposal facilities, processing and storage infrastructure in North Dakota and Minnesota, and terminaling and export assets such as rail terminals, crude oil rail cars, and pipeline connections.
