BlackRock Taxable Municipal Bond Trust (NYSE: BBN) is a closed-end fixed income investment fund managed by BlackRock Advisors, LLC and sponsored by BlackRock, Inc. The fund is structured to invest in U.S. fixed income markets, with a primary focus on taxable municipal securities, including Build America Bonds. It may also allocate to tax-exempt municipal securities, U.S. Treasury securities, obligations of the U.S. government and related agencies and instrumentalities, as well as corporate bonds. Established on August 27, 2010 and domiciled in the United States, the fund was previously known as BlackRock Build America Bond Trust.
