BNY Mellon High Yield Strategies Fund (NYSE: DHF) is a closed-end fixed income investment fund managed by BNY Mellon Investment Adviser, Inc. The fund seeks exposure to U.S. fixed income markets and focuses primarily on below-investment-grade securities. Its portfolio may include debt issued by companies in early stages of development as well as issuers with highly leveraged capital structures. The fund uses the BofA Merrill Lynch U.S. High Yield Master II Constrained Index as its performance benchmark. Formerly known as Dreyfus High Yield Strategies Fund, the fund was formed on April 29, 1998 and is domiciled in the United States.
