Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Incorporated is a Japanese electric utility group whose common stock is listed on OTC Markets. Through its subsidiaries, the company is involved in power generation, transmission, distribution, and retail supply in Japan and in international markets. Its generation portfolio includes nuclear, fuel, thermal, solar, geothermal, hydro, and offshore wind facilities. The group also handles fuel procurement, transportation, and trading, and it has a gas sales business. In addition, Tokyo Electric Power provides consulting services covering planning support for ODA and development bank projects, preliminary surveys, cost-reduction programs, energy conservation initiatives, environmental services, and human resource development support. Founded in 1951 and headquartered in Tokyo, the company adopted its current name in April 2016 and is a subsidiary of Nuclear Damage Compensation And Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation.
