Alcoa Corp (AA)

Alcoa Corporation is a common stock listing on the NYSE representing the ordinary equity of the company. Through its subsidiaries, the business is engaged in bauxite mining, alumina refining, aluminum production, and energy generation across Australia, Brazil, Canada, Iceland, Norway, Spain, the United States, and other international markets. Its operations are organized into two segments, Alumina and Aluminum. The company mines bauxite and related ores, processes bauxite into alumina for external customers, and operates aluminum smelting and casting activities. It also supplies aluminum powder, scrap, and primary aluminum products used in transportation, building and construction, packaging, wire, and other industrial applications. In addition, Alcoa generates and sells electricity to traders, industrial users, distribution companies, and other generation businesses. Founded in 1886 and headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the company adopted the Alcoa Corporation name in 2016.
