AMREP Corporation is a U.S. real estate company listed on the NYSE under the ticker AXR. Through its subsidiaries, the company operates in two segments: Land Development and Homebuilding. Its land development activities include planning and preparing property for development, securing government and environmental approvals, arranging utilities and storm drainage, supporting road construction and community infrastructure, and providing landscaping services to homebuilders. AMREP also acquires land and sells developed and undeveloped lots to homebuilders, as well as to commercial and industrial property developers through brokers. In addition, the company builds and sells single-family detached homes and attached homes, including built-to-order homes and a range of floor plans and elevations. AMREP also owns mineral and mineral rights across approximately 55,000 surface acres in Sandoval County, New Mexico. The company was incorporated in 1955 and is based in Havertown, Pennsylvania.
