Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. (NYSE: TDS) is a U.S. communications company with common stock listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Through its TDS Telecom and Array segments, the company serves residential, commercial, and wholesale customers with a range of communication offerings. These include internet connectivity, all-home Wi‑Fi, fiber internet, security and support services, television entertainment products, digital video recording, TDS TV+, digital television, local and long-distance voice services, VoIP, broadband, IP-based services, and hosted voice and video collaboration tools. The company also provides wireless services, carries data and voice traffic, supports wholesale activity, and delivers communications services in underserved areas. In addition, it leases tower space to tenants and distributes its products through third-party direct sales, retail locations, sales agents, and online channels. Founded in 1968, Telephone and Data Systems is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
