Textron Inc. is a diversified industrial company with common stock listed on the NYSE under the ticker TXT. Through its aircraft, defense, industrial, and finance businesses, the company operates worldwide across six segments: Textron Aviation, Bell, Textron Systems, Industrial, Textron eAviation, and Finance. Its aviation operations include business jets, turboprop and piston aircraft, military trainer aircraft, and maintenance and repair services. Bell focuses on military and commercial helicopters and tiltrotor aircraft, while Textron Systems provides unmanned aircraft systems, electronic systems, marine craft, training, weapons-related products, and specialty vehicles. The Industrial segment includes vehicle, fuel system, battery, and turf-care products, and Textron eAviation is centered on light aircraft and sustainable aviation initiatives. The Finance segment supports purchases of new and pre-owned aviation aircraft and Bell helicopters. Textron was founded in 1923 and is headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island.
