Its generation portfolio includes a mix of solar, hydro, wind, coal, gas, energy storage, and landfill gas resources. The company reports approximately 34,740 megawatts of generation capacity and serves about 2.7 million customers across the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Formerly known as Applied Energy Services, Inc., the company adopted its current name in April 2000 and is based in Arlington, Virginia.
