Tredegar Corporation (TG)

Tredegar Corporation is a materials company listed on the NYSE under the ticker TG. Through its subsidiaries, it produces and sells aluminum extrusions and polyethylene and polypropylene plastic films in the United States and overseas. The business is organized into two segments: Aluminum Extrusions and PE Films.

The Aluminum Extrusions segment supplies custom-fabricated and finished aluminum products for uses in building and construction, transportation, consumer durables, machinery, electrical, renewable energy, and distribution. It also makes mill, machined, anodized, painted, and thermally improved extrusions, along with products sold under the Futura Transitions and TSLOTS brand names.

The PE Films segment makes surface protection films for display components and related applications, as well as packaging films for bathroom tissue, paper towels, and other uses. Tredegar was incorporated in 1988 and is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.
