Vail Resorts, Inc. is a U.S.-based common stock listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker MTN. Through its subsidiaries, the company operates mountain resorts and regional ski areas in the United States and internationally. Its business is organized into three segments: Mountain, Lodging, and Real Estate. The Mountain segment includes destination resorts and regional ski areas, along with related activities such as ski school, dining, retail and rental operations, and real estate brokerage services. The Lodging segment owns and manages luxury hotels and condominiums, including properties under the RockResorts brand, and also provides resort ground transportation. The Real Estate segment is engaged in owning, developing, and selling property. Founded in 1962, Vail Resorts is headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado.
