California Resources Corp (CRC)

California Resources Corporation is an independent energy and carbon management company listed on the NYSE as common stock. Based in Long Beach, California, the company operates in two segments: Oil and Natural Gas, and Carbon Management. Its upstream activities include exploring for, developing, and producing crude oil, oil condensate, natural gas liquids, and natural gas for sale to California refineries, marketers, and other customers. Through its Carbon TerraVault business, the company builds and operates CO2 capture, transport, and storage infrastructure. California Resources also owns and runs power generation assets, including smaller gas-fired plants used to support its oil and natural gas operations. The company was incorporated in 2014.
