Invesco Municipal Opportunity Trust (NYSE: VMO) is a closed-end fixed income fund managed by Invesco Ltd. and listed as an investment fund vehicle rather than an operating company. The fund focuses on the U.S. fixed income market and primarily invests in investment-grade municipal securities, including municipal bonds, municipal notes, municipal commercial paper, and lease obligations. Its portfolio construction uses fundamental analysis and a bottom-up security selection process.
