The company’s lead candidate, GRI-0621, is an oral inhibitor of type 1 Natural Killer T cells and is being evaluated in a phase IIa trial for severe fibrotic lung diseases, including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Its pipeline also includes GRI-0803, an oral type 2 Natural Killer T-cell agonist in preclinical development for autoimmune disorders, along with GRI-0124 and GRI-0729, which are intended to help balance inflammatory immune responses. GRI Bio also maintains a proprietary library of more than 500 compounds. The company, formerly known as Glycoregimmune, Inc., was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in La Jolla, California.
