American Healthcare REIT Inc (AHR)

American Healthcare REIT, Inc. is a Maryland-based self-managed real estate investment trust listed on the NYSE under the ticker AHR. As a health care REIT, it owns and operates a diversified portfolio of clinical healthcare real estate in the U.S., the U.K., and the Isle of Man. Its property mix includes senior housing, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient medical buildings, and other healthcare-related assets. The company also uses a fully integrated management platform and operates senior housing through the RIDEA structure. In addition to direct property ownership, American Healthcare REIT has originated and acquired secured loans and may pursue other real estate-related investments on an opportunistic basis. It seeks income-producing assets and selectively develops healthcare properties while maintaining its election to be taxed as a REIT under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
