Through its Communications Solutions, Harsh Environment Solutions, and Interconnect and Sensor Systems segments, the company provides a broad range of connector systems, power distribution and interconnect products, cable assemblies, backplane systems, antennas, cables, and sensor-based products. Its products are used by original equipment manufacturers, electronics manufacturing services companies, original design manufacturers, and service providers across markets including automotive, commercial aerospace, communications networks, defense, industrial, information technology, data communications, and mobile devices. Founded in 1932 and headquartered in Wallingford, Connecticut, Amphenol operates in the United States, China, and other international markets.
