Customers Bancorp Inc. is a bank holding company for Customers Bank, a Pennsylvania-based financial institution founded in 1997 and headquartered in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Through its banking subsidiary, the company provides a range of deposit products for commercial and consumer customers, including checking, savings, money market, time deposit, and retirement accounts, along with non-retail time deposits such as jumbo certificates. Its lending activities include commercial and industrial loans, commercial real estate, multifamily and residential mortgage lending, SBA lending, mortgage finance, and several specialty finance segments such as fund finance, real estate specialty finance, technology and venture, and healthcare and financial institutions lending. Customers Bancorp also offers digital banking, Banking-as-a-Service solutions for fintech companies, payments and treasury services, consumer lending through fintech partners, and the TassatPay instant blockchain-based payments platform. Additional services include mobile and internet banking, wire transfers, bill payment, lock box, remote deposit capture, merchant processing, and cash management tools.
