Through its subsidiary, Mechanics Bank, the company provides a range of banking and financial services in California, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii. Its offerings include checking and savings accounts, consumer lending products such as home, auto, term, and personal loans, as well as credit lines and SBA lending. The bank also serves commercial clients with real estate lending, equipment financing, trade services, letters of credit, cash management, merchant services, payroll, and fraud prevention solutions. In addition, Mechanics Bancorp provides wealth-related services through trust and estate, investment management, retirement plan, private banking, and brokerage activities. Founded in 1905 and headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, the company serves both retail and business customers.
