Farmers & Merchants Bancorp, Inc. is a bank holding company for The Farmers & Merchants State Bank, serving individuals and small businesses across Northwest Ohio, Northeast Indiana, and Southeast Michigan. Through its banking subsidiary, the company provides a range of deposit products, including checking and savings accounts, time deposits, certificates of deposit, and custodial services for retirement and health savings accounts. Its lending activities cover commercial, agricultural, residential mortgage, and consumer credit, with financing available for farmland, farm equipment, livestock, operating needs tied to seeds, fertilizers, and feed, as well as home improvement and vehicle purchases. The company also offers commercial real estate lending, lines of credit, and machinery purchase loans. In addition, it provides ATM and interactive teller services, digital banking tools, bill pay, electronic statements, remote deposit capture, and transaction origination services such as wire transfers and ACH processing. Founded in 1897 and headquartered in Archbold, Ohio, the company’s common stock trades on NASDAQ under the symbol FMAO.
