Highland Floating Rate Opport Fund (NYSE: HFRO) is a closed-end investment fund listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The fund, formerly known as Highland Funds I - Highland Income Fund, was launched on January 13, 2000 and is domiciled in the United States. It is managed by Highland Capital Management Fund Advisors, L.P., with Highland Capital Management, L.P. identified as the launching sponsor. The portfolio is focused on fixed-income markets across global countries, with primary exposure to floating-rate loans and other securities considered floating-rate instruments. A key emphasis is placed on adjustable-rate senior loans to corporations and partnerships, and the fund also seeks exposure to below-investment-grade securities.
