Its operations are organized across six segments: North America Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance, North America Personal Property and Casualty Insurance, North America Agricultural Insurance, Overseas General Insurance, Global Reinsurance, and Life Insurance. The company’s offerings include commercial property and liability coverage, workers’ compensation, umbrella policies, professional and management liability, environmental and cyber products, as well as claims handling, risk management, loss control, and engineering services. It also writes personal lines such as homeowners, automobile, collector car, valuable articles, and excess liability insurance. In addition, Chubb provides crop insurance, specialty commercial coverages, reinsurance products, and a range of protection and savings solutions, including term life, health-related coverages, unit-linked contracts, endowments, and annuities. Formerly known as ACE Limited, the company adopted the Chubb Limited name in January 2016 and was incorporated in 1985.
