Kentucky First Federal Bancorp is a Kentucky-based bank holding company listed on NASDAQ as common stock. Through its banking subsidiaries, the company gathers deposits from the public and uses those funds to make loans to households and businesses. Its lending activities include residential real estate financing for one- to four-family homes, multifamily properties and construction projects, along with nonresidential real estate loans and consumer lending such as home equity lines, auto loans, deposit-secured loans and unsecured credit. The company also extends commercial non-mortgage loans. Incorporated in 2005 and headquartered in Hazard, Kentucky, Kentucky First Federal Bancorp operates as a subsidiary of First Federal MHC.
